SoGEA Broadband

Up until now, to deliver broadband to a home or office, it required a traditional phone line and then ADSL Broadband or FTTC Broadband provided on top of it.

Single order, SOGEA is provided over a traditional copper line but the line it is not activated for the phone (PSTN analogue) call option, more of us use call services via an app, it is now the normal which includes the video picture stream. As the line is not active for the call option it is not charged.

Speeds can get up to 80Mbs on Download / 20Mbs on the Upload – but will always be much higher than any option on ADSL Broadband and equal to any current FTTC service. SOGEA is cheaper than FTTC as the line rental charge is removed. Other advantages include: Quicker Fix Times: Faults can now be resolved much quicker since the customer only needs to provide one support call to their provider. Higher speed efficiency to enable an easier home working solution. More reliable: Since there is no traditional phone line frequencies being used, there is less of a chance of interference and an unstable connection.
